all the SINGLE ladies

I've always been upfront and honest about my status as a single lady... I own acronyms such as NBK (never been kissed) and NBSB (no boyfriend since birth) kasi for the life of me eh I don't see anything wrong with being single at my age... 


Kaya naman nung minsang mapag-usapan ang lovelife ko (or lack thereof) eh natanong nanaman ako... and of course walang kakurapkurap at walang ka-abog-abog eh sinabi kong "YUP, NBSB ako!" 


Pero wait... di dyan nagtatapos and kwento.... dahil biglang nabaling ang usapan sa isang kadaungang palad ang spotlight at itinanong, "Eh ikaw ....?" 


ABA... ABA... ABAH...


Sumagot ang lola mo with such strong conviction na "HINDI AH!!!"  at may bahid pa ng hinanakit at napag-isipang NBSB at NBK din sya... 


KAW NA 'TEH! 


KAW NA ANG MAGANDA AT PINAGPAPANTASYAHAN NG MGA KAPRE...

The Ilocos "X"perience

that blew away bad spirits... hehehe :)

Actually, this in my second time to tour the Ilocos area... I can't remember much about my first experience dun kasi medyo aligaga (with much emphasis on the word "gaga") ako kasi halos lahat ng mga kasama ko ay mga tandercats.... and also we were in a tour group so I wasn't really paying attention to the routes and places... basta happy happy lang to see new sites and act like a giddy tourist...


Kaya naman I was especially excited when I got another opportunity to tour Ilocos for the second time... I envisioned this new trip to be way more fun than the first because I will be with a group close to my age... (actually this time ako naman ang tandercat dun pero with my state of mind eh medyo di naman kami nagkakalayo sa age... ) I expected that I will get to absorb the picturesque sites of different historical places kasi feeling ko I've matured enough to appreciate these things... and finally I was very hopeful that I will get to spend quality bonding moments with the single ladies (and a not so single lady) of PGS....


But alas.... alas... alas... MALAS!!!!           hay :(

Yet amidst the chaos, misunderstanding and the patience-trying times eh this trip would probably be one of the most memorable I have ever had... 


a life learning experience that I would probably be lamenting about to very close friends for at least a couple of months before I can finally shrug the experience off and laugh about it without harboring any negative emotions....
